Princeton High School Open House

Yesterday I met my daughter at the high school to pick up her schedule for the school year. Much to her disappointment one of her classes was cancelled Speech, this is a Junior/Senior level class and 14 students had signed up for the class last fall. I found out yesterday that to hold a class there must be a minimum of 15 students in a class for it to be held. I guess the Princeton School district does not believe that 14 students are worth teaching. Speech is an important skill for all students to have. I thought small class sizes were a good thing not bad. I hope someone on the school board can explain this to me.
